Scores of our batch and the 65th were thronging to the Auditorium from 6.30pm, lured in by prospect of some miraculouse relief from the boredom suffered inside the classes through the sultry summer days. This phenomenon common to training institutes across the world from (sic) circa vedic times has been proved to be temporarily curable through outdoor music therapy of this kind .
Pt. Keshav Ginde and Pt. Arvind Kumar Azad.
Behind them, the proud disciple of the maestro
flautist, Sri Rajeev Ranade, CD, 65th Batch IRS
I was scared of the inadequate light at the Meeting Point. But all ended well, with both the Maestros deciding to put on a beaming face throughout the caricaturing session. Ranade sir's Guruji is, by default, a smiler.
The Ustad tablist's face while on the stage was a kaleidoscope of expressions . Altogether , seven lip stretches of smiles could so far be identified, all loaded with harmless but multiple meanings :)
Both these maestros are very lovable persons, like most of the musicians are. I have felt that unlike the dancers, musicians have lesser skills in articulation and lesser still grip over GK. But their EQ would be astonishingly big, very big, which woud coax us to somehow again fall in love with this world !
